The Redfin Wrasse is native to the Philippines and is found in the rubble zones of the outer reefs . This tranquil wrasse makes an excellent addition to every Reef Aquarium adding stunning coloration. Similar to other wrasses males in courtship display an increase in color intensity. The colors can vary based on the mood of the fish. Redfin Wrasse Redfin Wrasse is a very tranquil active fish that can bring color and excitement to a reef or fish-only aquarium that is 90 gallons or more. They won't bother any corals or invertebrates , making the perfect fish to be kept in a reef aquarium. One male could be kept in females in a group that are introduced prior to or even at the same time in the same manner as males. They are known to jump, therefore the use of a sturdy canopy is advised. The diet for wrasse should comprise mysis shrimp that is vitamin-enriched and frozen and vitamin-enriched brine shrimp frozen, and other meaty meals, along with an excellent sea flake as well as marine pellet food. Approximate Size of Purchase: Small: 3/4" to 1 1/4" Medium: 1 1/4" to 2" Large: 2" to 3"

They are known to jump, which is why a tight-fitting canopy is advised.   Redfin Wrasse Diet A Redfin Wrasse diet must include mysis shrimp with vitamin enrichment frozen as well as vitamin-enriched brine shrimp that are frozen, as well as other meaty meals, excellent seafood flake, and pellets.
