Return Policy

We try to simplify our return policy. In the case of returns, we will do what’s right and help you. If you’re returning an item due to having bought the incorrect size, or changed your mind or were not satisfied with the purchase, restock and/or return shipping charges could apply. If you’re returning an item due to the item was damaged in shipping, isn’t working or has a defect we’ll mail you a label for return that has been prepaid or refund the purchase in full, or replace the item for free of cost to you.

 

You must write your purchase number onto the exterior of the packaging.

Once we have received your item, we’ll examine your return and take the proper steps for the replacement or refund according to the return policies of our company. We will not issue refunds for coupons voucher codes, coupons, gift cards and reward points.

If an item is damaged within the 30 days following purchase we’ll allow an exchange, refund or replacement. If the item is damaged and is outside of the 30-day period after purchase, please get in touch with the manufacturer directly for warranty assistance.

  • Returns must be requested and pre-approved by contacting us
  • Refunds on unopened, unused products that have not been used for 30 days or more will be made in the form of Rewards points or store credit.
  • We will not accept fish tanks, food items such as salt, sand liquids, or rocks that have expiration dates that are outside of the 30-day window.

Aquariums & Freight Shipments

Shipping Instructions for Delivery: Always check the shipment prior to signing for it. It is recommended to take your package out of its container regardless of the state of the box. examine it thoroughly and if damaged, snap photos and take notes of the damages in the receipt for delivery or repackage the item and refuse delivery. If you accept the delivery receipt, it’s a legally binding contract which states that you have accepted the item in the condition it was received. If the box isn’t open at the time the package is made, it’s ideal to mention “possible hidden damaged” no matter the state that is present in the box(es). This is crucial since once you’ve accepted your delivery; you are responsible to ensure it’s damaged. When you sign for your delivery, you confirm that you have received the tank with no damage and accept the tank in its present state.

Aquariums can be returned (new aquariums, unopened, or refused tanks only) however the buyer will be charged for the entire cost of returning an aquarium, including the freight shipping cost and the freight charge for returning along with a restocking cost. The price typically ranges between $50 to $1500 depending on the item you buy, and where you are delivering it to.
