Kaudern's Cardinal Kaudern's Cardinal is highly sought for due to its easy cleaning, beautiful design and color, as well as its distinct, elegantly long fins. Its Kaudern's Card, called known as the Banggai Cardinalfish or Longfin Cardinalfish is a metallic silver fish accented by black-colored stripes and white stars on the fins and body. This striking design of the color pattern of Kaudern's Cardinal creates a visually impressive and memorable feature in most saltwater aquariums.   A 30 gallon or larger aquarium that has cave-like rocks and tranquil tank mates is perfect for this slow and deliberate swimmer. Because of its aggressive nature toward other species, the Kaudern's Cardinal must never be placed in huge numbers. This Kaudern's Cardinal is relatively easy to breed in an aquarium. Once spawning has taken place the males take eggs in his mouth to guard them against predators.   This saltwater fish needs to be fed a balanced diet that includes meaty food like feeder shrimp, bloodworms, marine flesh and, depending on the size live feeder fish.   Approximate Purchase Size: 1" to 1-1/2"
