The Striped Blenny, also known as the Gammistes Blenny, Striped Fang, or Striped Poison-Fang, is a striking fish with alternating black and yellow stripes running the length of its body.- Habitat: The Striped thrives in large or medium-sized aquariums designed with live rock. This environment offers essential features:
- Hunting Grounds: The live rock provides areas to hunt and feed on small crustaceans.
- Shelter: It also serves as a hiding place, which is crucial for the Blenny's well-being.
- Behavior: Generally, the Striped is not aggressive. However, it may display aggression towards tank mates of similar shape. The fish uses its fangs primarily as a defense mechanism, not for attacking unless provoked.
