General information on Powder Blue Tang
The Powder Blue Tang (Acanthurus leucosternon) has an oval shape and vivid, vibrant markings. It is sought-after for its vibrant color and bold markings with various shades of blue, complemented by white and yellow. The bright yellow color highlights pectoral and dorsal fins, while striking blue-black lines highlight the tail and face. An aquarium that is large is essential to give ample swimming space. It is very aggressive toward other Tangs and Surgeonfish specifically tank mates with similar shapes and colors. It should be the sole one in the tank, unless in extremely large systems: Introduce in a single go when more than one fish is expected to be kept within the same tank.
