The Biota® captive-bred Striped Blenny is also referred to as Gammistes Blenny, Striped Fang Blenny or Striped Poison-Fang Blenny. It features alternated yellow and black stripes that cover the entire length of the body.
It can be a great fit in an aquarium that is 30 gallons or and has live rock. The live rock gives it areas to hunt and eat small crustaceans, as well as areas to conceal. It's usually not aggressive unless tank mates are of similar shapes. The fangs of the fish are a defensive mechanism to bite aggressive fish.
The Striped Blenny diet is comprised of chopped crustaceans and brine shrimp that are vitamin-enriched, as well as frozen food preparations for herbivores.

General information about Striped Blenny
