The Fine Spotted Fairy Wrasse is predominantly green with an underside that is white. The body of the fish is decorated with white spots, which do increase in size according to how the fish is feeling. Males and females members of the species are similar colored but when courting the male shifts to a variety of shades.
The Fine Spotted Fairy Wrasse is an extremely peaceful and active fish that will add color and energy to a reef or fish-only aquarium that is 90 gallons or more. They are not a nuisance to corals or other invertebrates which makes them the ideal fish to be used in the reef aquarium. They are known to leap, which is why an appropriate canopy that is a tight fit is advised.
The Fine Spotted Wrasse diet should consist of vitamin-enriched frozen mysis shrimp, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp that are frozen, as well as other meaty food items, in addition to the highest quality seafood flake, and marine pellets.

Females and males members of the species appear similar in color, however, when they are courting the male can change into different colors. A Fine Spotted Wrasse is an extremely peaceful and active fish that brings both activity and color to a fish-only or reef aquarium. They won't bother any corals or invertebrates, making them the perfect fish for reef tanks. These wrasses love to leap, which is why they require a sturdy canopy.
