Dino x Fauna Marin 500 Ml

Dino x Fauna Marin 500 Ml is an effective and potent treatment for outbreaks of dinoflagellates in your aquarium reef. This bottle of 500ml contains an effective formula that targets and kills dinoflagellates and does not harm coral or beneficial bacteria. Dinoflagellates are a kind of algae that is able to quickly multiply and create a problem in reef aquariums which can cause coral damage as well as death. DINO X has been specifically designed to kill and eradicate dinoflagellates and leave the coral as well as beneficial bacteria in good health. This concentrated formulation of DINO X was created to be simple to use, and also highly efficient. Simply add the dose recommended into your aquarium following the directions, and then be amazed at how DINO X goes to work to eliminate and target dinoflagellates. One of the advantages of DINO X lies in the fact it doesn't cause harm to the coral or any beneficial bacteria. This is vital as other treatments to treat dinoflagellate infestations can damage the essential elements that make up your fish tank. DINO X is also phosphate and nitrate free, which helps to keep other varieties of algae from encroaching on your aquarium. The 500ml bottle filled with DINO X is perfect for those who have larger aquariums or those who wish to have a spare in case of future events. Make sure your aquarium is free of harmful algae with DINO X. Note Dino X is not a treatment for cyanobacteria. When used properly, Dino X is harmless to inverts and fish alike. Dino X should always be dosed in the evening or one hour AFTER the main lighting has gone off. Zooanthellae algae must be discontinued, thus creating optimal effects from Dino X. For optimal effects, the main lighting phase should not exceed 6 hours daily and the skimmer should be set to skim wet and run 24/7. Water parameters can be adjusted with Balling Light or lime water without affecting Dino X performance. Premixed Ca, Alk, and Mg solutions should be used with caution as they often contain additional trace elements.

Helpful Questions From Clients
Frequently Asked Questions
Is hiring a professional necessary to set up a saltwater aquarium?

As a general rule, a larger custom aquarium might require installation by a professional. However, a kit from our online fish store is relatively affordable and beginner friendly. That means you should have no problem setting it up yourself.

Which saltwater aquarium fish should you choose when starting out?

Consider a yellow tang fish. This popular saltwater aquarium fish does a great job of coexisting with other types of fish you’ll find in our online fish store.

How does a saltwater aquarium differ from a freshwater one?

Saltwater aquariums require a bit more maintenance and monitoring than freshwater tanks. Different fish require different levels of salinity, pH tolerances, and temperature requirements. They also require specialized pumps, filters, and other equipment that can handle salt. We can guide you through everything you need to know to set up a healthy, thriving reef tank.

Do fish in a saltwater aquarium swim in a school?

That depends on the species. However, if it’s a fish that swims in a school in the wild, they’ll do the same in an aquarium. Some fish that swim in schools include the green and blue chromis, cardinalfish, and dartfish, for example. When ordering from an online fish store, make sure you do your research on how specific fish species behave to ensure they’ll school (or at least coexist) with your current fish.

Is the effort required to maintain a saltwater aquarium worth it?

Yes! Many aquarists dream of owning thriving saltwater aquariums. You have a tiny piece of the ocean in your home, featuring magical and exotic fish that can only survive in saltwater.
