1" slip bulkhead w/insert 13/4" hole The 1" Slip Bulkhead with Insert for a 1 3/4" Hole is a plumbing fitting used for connecting a hose or pipe to a tank or container. The bulkhead fitting has a female threaded insert (1") that is inserted into the tank and a slip end that allows for the connection of a hose or pipe without threading. The slip end simply inserts into the bulkhead for a quick and easy connection that is secure and leak-free. The 1 3/4" hole size indicates the size of the opening in the tank or container that the bulkhead fitting is designed to fit through. This bulkhead is commonly used in fluid systems to connect hoses or pipes to tanks or containers for the transfer of liquids.
