Lamarck's Angelfish  - Genicanthus Lamarck

  One of the less simple in the Genicanthus group, the robust Lamarck's Angelfish remains a sought-after fish for Aquarists. This species' Genus is different from its larger cousins as it is exclusively fed Zooplankton and is not fed on Sponges Corals and any of the other invertebrate species that are sessile. The Lamarck Angelfish is an excellent choice for mixing with other Angelfish however, it is an ideal candidate for reef safe aquarium since it doesn't pick at corals.

Diet

Feed your fish a varied diet composed of large pieces of meaty meals. The most common of these are krill fresh table shrimps, squid mussel and clam. It's an excellent idea to supplement your diet with a sort of herbivore diet that contains. Their diet should include Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, and mysis or frozen shrimp.

Tank Requirements

To thrive, Lamarck's Angelfish require a well-maintained tank of at least 125 gallons. They may harass small planktivores like Anthias and Fairy Wrasses but typically coexist peacefully with other fish, including other Angelfish. Only one male should be housed per tank.

Behavior and Compatibility

Lamarck's Angelfish are easier to care for compared to other angelfish species. They generally ignore most tankmates but may chase small, docile planktivores.
