Colored Anglerfish - A Calm Predator with Surprising Feeding Behavior

    The Colored Anglerfish can range in hue from a vibrant color to an intense orange hue. Their bodies can alter color to blend into the surroundings over time. Anglers fish require large quantities of rock that live in an 20-gallon plus aquarium .In the initial introduction to the aquarium the live saltwater feeder shrimp must be utilized to lure this fish to take a bite. Anglers can consume any small creature in aquarium (crustacean or fish) which is lured to its mouth by using the Esca (modified the first dorsal spinal spine) which resembles tiny, delicious fish. It can accept most meaty, including feeder fish.
