Info on Snowflake Clown Fish, Captive Bred
Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish is a color variation of the standard Ocellaris Clownfish. Like snowflakes, none of these distinctive fish look like each other. The color of the body and general shape that make up the Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish are similar to the normal Ocellaris Clownfish, but the stripe pattern is distinct. The three white stripes on the body are exaggerated, and they have different designs and shapes. The grading on Snowflake Clownfish is based on the size and amount of irregular white. In the normal class of Snowflake Ocellaris Clownfish, the body stripes have irregular edges. All three body stripes can be distinguished.
Diet ofthe Snowflake Clownfish
The majority of clownfish are omnivorous eaters and will consume a variety of types of food. In nature, the diet of clownfish is comprised of crustaceans (such as amphipods and copepods) as well as polychaete worms, algae, and the leftovers of eating anemones. These captive-bred fish have been equipped to consume a range of diets for aquariums such as pellets as well as flake fish foods, frozen foods, Mysis shrimp, and brine shrimp.
