The Ruby Red Dragonet is also known as Ruby Dragonet. This recently described Dragonet species comes from the Philippines. Ruby Red Dragonet is a beautiful color and will be sure to add color and variety to your tank. It is best to have a reef aquarium with 30 gallons or more with plenty of live rock to hide and to graze upon. The substrate should be living sand and the tank must be populated by gentle fish. A variety of species can be kept and it is recommended to introduce them all into the tank at once. The ratio is 2 to 3 females per male. A 55 gallon or bigger aquarium is required when more than one male is going to be kept. The Ruby Red Dragonet diet should consist of brine shrimps as well as bloodworms and glassworms and smaller invertebrates. They are slow-moving and conscious feeders, and shouldn't need to compete for food sources. Approximate Purchase Size: 3/4" to 2-1/4"

Ruby Red Dragonet Information The Ruby Red Dragonet, Synchiropus sp. has a ruby red body with white spots that are mottled and intensely yellow fins that are outlined by sharp black. They are extremely tranquil and can be kept together with other peaceful fish in a reef tank. However, they may be territorial toward other blennies, dartfish, or gobies within smaller aquariums. Blennies are famous for their incredible ability to jump so having a well secure lid is advised.   Ruby Red Dragonet Diet Diets should contain various mysis shrimp and vitamin-enriched brine shrimp in addition to an adequate intake of copepods, amphipods as well as spirulina seaweed, marine algae, and algae-based foods 3 times every day.
