Amazingly unique and fun The Captive-Bred ORA Whitespotted Pygmy Filefish is a constant source of enjoyment for those who are eco-conscious. In waters surrounding Japan and to the south of Taiwan The Whitespotted Pygmy Fish is usually found in areas of temperate climates, with macroalgae and Seagrass beds. They can alter their colors and patterns depending on their surroundings. They produce massive nests, but their eggs as well as larvae, are very tiny. Prolarvae just recently hatched are 1.6mm. Although they are small Whitespotted Pygmy Filefish are tough and quick growing. The fish's broodstocks are kept in temperatures of tropical waters and offspring are raised at temperatures between 74 and 80 degrees. This means they are fully adapted to the requirements of the majority of aquariums in the home. This captive bred fish has a unique advantage over wild-harvested species. Captive-Bred Fish are very tough and are more accustomed to the conditions in home aquariums. It is an excellent choice for beginners and experienced aquarists. Whitespotted Pygmy Filefish can be found eating diverse food sources such as frozen and pelleted diets. ORA has a small collection of fish in a tank that has soft and hard corals. They did not observe any nipping meaning that the fishes are reef-safe. Approximate purchase size 1" to 1.5"
