ORA® Captive-Bred Premium Black Snowflake Clownfish

The ORA® Captive-Bred Black Premium Snowflake Clownfish is an entirely new species of clownfish that was first created at ORA. It was created through cross-breeding Black Ice Snowflake Clownfish with Black Ocellaris Clownfish over multiple generations. The result is an amazing new species that is Black Ocellaris that has unique patterns in every fish.  ORA Premium Black Snowflake Clownfish exhibits extreme patterns in white, which gives it an impressive appearance. It is important to note that, just like other Black Ocellaris, the ORA Premium Black Snowflake Clownfish will spend the first year of its life gradually darkening before reaching its final black shade and some individuals may have traces of orange left in their face. The fish is a great choice for nearly every saltwater aquarium owner as captive-bred fish possess a distinct advantage over the wild caught species. Fish that are captive-bred are extremely durable and more comfortable with the conditions that are common in aquariums at home. This ORA® Clandestine-Bred Black Premium Snowflake can be easily bred in your own aquarium. Females are the bigger of the two while the fish typically stay close to one another in the aquarium. Clownfish are egg-laying fish that deposit eggs on flat surfaces and protect them from any tankmates. The eggs are usually born within 8 to 11 days, based on the temperature of the water. The fry need to be raised in a separate tank eating rotifers and then baby brine shrimp.
