The Mertensii Butterflyfish, also known as the Orangetail Butterflyfish, or Crowned Pearlyscale Butterflyfish is a blue-silver hue with black lines on the body's scales. It has a crisscross pattern and a pearly sheen. The majority of its posterior is orange. It is also black with silver edges in the eye. It could be housed in a 120 gallon or bigger aquarium if it is maintained and calm. It can be kept in conjunction together with other Butterflyfish when they are introduced into the tank at the same time. It is not considered to be reef safe.
