The Blue Gudgeon Dartfish, commonly known as the Blacktail Goby or Blacktail Dartfish is a native of the coral reefs of Fiji. They sport an elongated body that is light blue or green in appearance, with a noticeable streak of black on the back. They love being together and make excellent fish to have in fish only or reef aquariums. It is recommended to place it in a 30 gallon or greater aquarium that has plenty of coral rubble. It requires ample space to swim with a bottom of sand for burrowing. It might try to leap from the aquarium or any other opening which is why a tight fitting lid is needed. It is rare for it to be aggressive towards other fish. It feeds on prey that is suspended inside the column however, it will also eat food from the substrate too. Blue Gudgeon Dartfish feeds on mysis shrimps, brine shrimp, table shrimp, and frozen carnivore food preparations. It is recommended to feed it at a minimum of three times per day.   Approximate Purchase Size: 2" - 4-1/2"
